Feelings and emotions in German

Most feelings are adjectives with sein (Ich bin müde) or with the reflexive sich fühlen (Ich fühle mich einsam). Fear takes haben: Ich habe Angst vor Hunden. Sauer is sour for food and annoyed for people. Of these 26 words, 16 are among the 5,000 most common; the other 10 are basic words, marked with a dash.
